With elimination on the New York Yankees’ minds, they host the Boston Red Sox in Game 4 in the Bronx this Tuesday. Will the series be extended to a deciding Game 5, or will Tuesday night’s contest bring a conclusion to the ALDS?

This series has been defined by big hits early in games. Both JD Martinez and Aaron Judge have been trendsetters for their respective clubs in the first innings of the first games, and in Game 3, the Red Sox racked up 7 runs in the fourth inning alone. Martinez, who is coming off of a huge regular season that saw him belt 43 homeruns, continued that clutch play in Game 1. The DH whacked a 3-run homer off of JA Happ in the first, and the Sox would not surrender that lead for the remainder of Game 1. He followed up that performance with 2 additional RBI in Monday’s 16-1 drubbing.

Like Martinez, the Yankees’ leftfielder Aaron Judge, is a threat to go deep at any point in the game. He flexed that prowess in Game 2 with a first-inning solo homerun that gave the Yankees the lead and ultimately the win. With Game 4 taking place in New York, it’ll be up to Rick Porcello of the Red Sox and CC Sabathia of the Yankees to quiet those big bats. The first pitch will fly at 8:07 PM ET in this can’t-miss game.
