On Thursday, the Toronto Blue Jays and Baltimore Orioles will wrap up their three-game series from Camden Yards. While neither team is expected to challenge for the American League East division title or a playoff spot this season, there’s still a lot to play for. Both clubs are in the midst of rebuilding and have lots of young talent on display. In addition, general managers from across the league will have their eyes on potential trade chips that are available on both rosters.

One such trade chip is Thursday’s starter for the Blue Jays, Marcus Stroman. The life-long Jay has been the subject of trade rumors all season, and now with mid-season fast approaching, trade talks around Toronto’s best starter are heating up. Despite a nasty 3-8 record, Stro has shown that he’s still a top end starter in the MLB. He sports a 3.31 ERA and has held opponents to a career-low 2.87 runs allowed per nine innings.

The Orioles will counter with newly-appointed starter Gabriel Ynoa. Following a series of injuries to Baltimore’s starting core, Ynoa was tapped to fill in as a starter. Ynoa has improved with every start that he’s made this season, capping things off with an impressive six-inning performance against the Houston Astros. Tune in for the 7:05 PM ET start.
