The New England Patriots have had it easy thus far. They may be undefeated at 8-0 (6-2 ATS) halfway through the 2019 regular season, but the defending champs have played the weakest schedule in the league by a country mile. That all changes Sunday night when the Pats visit the Baltimore Ravens (5-2 SU, 2-5 ATS), who are getting 3.5 points at press time. Kick-off is 8:20 PM ET on NBC.

The Pats have put up some impressive numbers against substandard competition – six of their seven opponents thus far have losing records, and they’ve played the 1-6 New York Jets twice. The Ravens, meanwhile, lead the AFC North at the halfway point; their offense is a thing of beauty with dual threat Lamar Jackson at quarterback, and they have the best special teams in the NFL with PK Justin Tucker (zero missed kicks) and punter Sam Koch leading the way.

Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh is also one of the few men in the league who comes close to matching wits with Bill Belichick. It’s been a competitive head to head series since Harbaugh took over the Ravens program in 2008 – the Patriots are 6-3 SU, but they’ve split the cash at 4-4-1 ATS.
