This Sunday’s matchup between the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams features two teams that seem destined to go far in the NFC bracket. Both squads lead their respective divisions, and Los Angeles has pulled into first in the league following New Orleans’ loss to Dallas this past Sunday. Chicago has sputtered of late due to an injury to their starting QB Mitch Trubisky. Now coming off of a loss to the New York Giants in Week 13, the Bears will be focused on getting back into the win column.

Mitch Trubisky hasn’t thrown a football since Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings, and the Bears are being quiet about the starter’s likelihood of returning against the Rams. That may mean that backup Chase Daniels will be back under center in Week 14. Daniels hasn’t thrown for more than 300 yards in either of his replacement starts, so Chicago has had to lean heavily on their defense to win games. That defense will be seriously challenged against one of the best offences in the NFL this Sunday.

The Rams rank second in points scored per game (35.4), and with Jared Goff and Todd Gurley going strong, this team can outmatch even the best defenses in the league. LA has won three-straight games coming into Sunday night’s matchup and will be keen to hand Chicago their second straight loss. Kick off is 8:20 PM ET.
