With fewer than 50 games to go before the playoffs, the Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves both have comfortable leads in their respective divisions – especially the Dodgers. They’ll be in Cobb County this Friday to open a three-game series against the Braves; first pitch is at 7:20 PM ET on the MLB Network.

The Dodgers wrapped up the weekend with a record of 79-41, best in the bigs and 18.5 games ahead of the pack in the National League West. The Braves were second on the senior circuit at 70-50, 6 games up in the NL East – but only 15-13 since the All-Star break, while Los Angeles are smoking hot at 19-8. When these two teams met back in early May at Chavez Ravine, the Dodgers swept all three games by a combined score of 23-7.
